About me

As a dedicated psychologist at De Tussenstap, I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals and groups seeking psychological care and therapy. With a focus on well-being and growth, I guide my clients toward positive change in their lives, both personally and professionally.

Who am I?

In 2001, I graduated as a clinical psychologist. Later, I specialized further as a psychosocial well-being prevention advisor and behavioral counselor, and obtained a master's degree in culture and development studies. After graduating, I spent two months in Ecuador. These periods were incredibly valuable. I also gained experience in youth work, residential care, and research before transitioning to a position as a psychosocial well-being prevention advisor. In 2019, I started working as an independent psychologist.

As a person, I love being in nature, an outdoors person. As a psychologist, I've increasingly incorporated nature into my therapeutic sessions. Don't be surprised if I take you outside and we explore nature, with or without my therapy dog, Marley. The power of nature is central to the Friluftsliv project.

Recognition number of the psychologists' committee: 781106486

Marley is my loyal four-legged friend and co-therapist. He's a playful and sweet Labradoodle. He accompanies us on walks and can also be present in the therapy room. He puts you at ease and offers comfort and solace when things are difficult.
